Winner of the Lawson/Paterson Songwriters Award, two Labour Day Song Awards, an Australian Songwriters Association first prize. Frank has had a writing and performing career spanning three decades and was the singer/songwriter with the legendary Whirling Furphies and author of Melbourne’s unofficial anthem “My Brown Yarra”. In addition to his own 7 CD releases Frank’s highly acclaimed songs have been recorded by many other recording artists.

 

In tandem with his continuing writing and performing career, Frank has been teaching the craft of songwriting, through classes and workshops, in High Schools and communities throughout Victoria, and at music festivals across Australia.
